Position Title :Accounts Receivable Analyst

Reports to : Accounting Manager

Classification : Exempt

Status : Regular Full-Time (On Site)

Location : San Jose Costa Rica

This job is located at Terramix, S.A, a Hultec Company in San Jose, Costa Rica. All resumes must be in English for consideration.

. Job Summary

Responsible for all receivable duties required to support collection efforts, month end aging reconciliations and supporting any account receivable related issues.

Responsibilities

  • Supports collection efforts for outstanding debts owed.
  • Contacts and follow up with potential uncollectible and delinquent accounts proactively.
  • Responsible for month end aging Accounts Receivable related reconciliations
  • Develop and Maintain Accounts Receivable/Credit work instructions / processes.
  • Review and support refunds to customers; short paid invoices for proper documentation
  • Interface with order management to ensure timely invoicing, resolve invoicing discrepancies, prepare credit memos as required.
  • Prepare and process invoices and customers statements.
  • Review & post daily cash receipts from Accounts Receivable customers and investigate unapplied payments to ensure payments are posted correctly.
  • Research account disputes and billing discrepancies
  • Create and maintain accurate customer profiles in the accounting ERP system.
  • Address Accounts Receivable related inquiries from internal and external customers
  • Supports the Accounting team with issues involving Accounts Receivable
  • Other duties as needed to support Accounts Receivable Team

Job Requirements and Skills

  • Medium technician in accounting or related studies
  • Must have proven 3-5 years' work experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist (essential)
  • Must be fully bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Some experience working in accounts receivable area in multinational manufacturing companies preferred.
  • Must have a solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles.
  • Must be proficient in English and in MS Office
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
  • Must have strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Must have a high degree of accuracy, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Must have the capability to work in multiple ERP systems.
