Raw Materials Purchasing Specialist

Team overview and job responsibilities We are looking for a Raw Materials Purchasing Specialist to join our Purchasing team. Job responsibilities - You will execute the purchase process for Raw Material together with their logistics depending on the agreed incoterm. - You will be responsible for managing the import of Raw Materials, coordinating the procedures with the supplier, customs agent and the Company's Foreign Trade Analyst, to comply with the internal regulations and the current legal framework on foreign trade. - Determine strategies to reduce costs and consumption of raw materials by negotiating with suppliers and implementing the necessary actions, to achieve the corporate purchasing strategy. - Maintain external contact with trade associations. - Continuous improvement project experience (Ex. Savings analysis). - Execute the forerunners process (reports and purchase) - You will be responsible of the end to end process, including quoting, negotiation, adjudication, closing, and delivering of the product assuring the best purchasing conditions, credit terms and cost reduction strategies. Who are we looking for? - Bachelor's degree: Business Administration, Foreign Trade, International Business, industrial engineering or Related. - Minimum 3 years of proven work experience in procurement, inventory management, or supply chain management. - Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, supplier evaluation, and negotiation techniques. - Knowledge with inventory management software and systems. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. - Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with various departments. - Knowledge of relevant regulations and ethical sourcing practices. - Language: Intermediate English (Advanced level preffered) - Law knowledge on foreign trade, Customs Law, Customs Procedures and Tax Laws (Tax Code, etc.) - Office programs management (Word, vizio, power point) - Advanced Excel (required) - Prysmian Group, as an Equal Opportunity Employer, aims to attract and recruit individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills and abilities, who will enhance the quality of service and contribute to the Group’s success.
