Purpose and Scope : Provides clerical, administrative, and technical support to the Human Resources function. The HR Administrative Assistant performs a wide range of routine to advanced administrative duties acting as a liaison to internal and external contacts in a manner that promotes the professional image of the Company.

Essential Responsibilities : 1) Performs routine to advanced administrative tasks in support of the daily operations of the department.

3) Organizes and maintains paper and electronic filing systems for records, correspondence, including employee files, etc.

5) Back up with incidence reports and time entry

6) Plans conferences and meetings; may assemble background materials, attend meetings, and record proceedings as directed.

7) Reviews outgoing materials and correspondence for internal consistency and conformity with established procedures.

8) Orders and maintains supplies and equipment for department.

9) Assists with a variety of scheduled and unscheduled projects specific to assigned department/program.

10) Presenting New Hire Orientation and direct the Onboarding process (orients new employees).

11) Heavily involved in the recruitment process (interviews, phone screenings, create offer letters).

12) Support internal and external related inquiries or requests.

13) Assist with completion of compensation and benefit documentation.

14) Produce and submit reports on general HR activity HRIS (currently Workday/EV5).

15) Prepares and processes a complete range of personnel actions including hires, rehires, terminations, transfers, pay changes, etc.

16) Keep up to date with the latest HR trends, laws, and best practices.

17) Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required : Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands : This is a “onsite” position, with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.
