Finance Manager

Join our global TUI Musement Finance Team based in Costa Rica, as a Finance Manager and provide a high level of service to internal and external customers.

ABOUT THE JOB

• Responsible for accounting and control activity for the legal entity in Costa Rica
• Ensure actuals performance is recorded in a robust and accurate way and delivers actuals with high integrity to the FP&A and central business partnering teams
• Close co-operation with Business Services and other functions to effectively ensure timely completion of month-end tasks
• Responsible for entity level P&L actuals integrity, balance sheet management and accounting cash flow requirements, as well as well support for forecasting/budgeting process
• Managing monthly/quarterly reporting tasks, including Hyperion (HFM) activity
• Managing a broad range of technical topics impacting the entities including statutory accounts, tax and legal, as well as managing the relation with external and internal auditors
• Responsible for local internal control (COSO) implementation and/or evidence preparation
• Providing business partnering to the Head of Operations in the country while ensuring that there is a joint approach with central business partners to make sure performance is managed in the most efficient way
• Collaborating with other non-finance departments, as required, and participating in ad hoc TUI MM projects
• Fostering a high-performance culture, offering excellence in customer service delivery

ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Controlling or Audit or in any other relevant finance field. Master’s degree will be considered an asset
• Strong experience, finance professional with experience of accounting, analysis and reporting preferable in a managerial position in a global, multi-entity and complex matrix organization. Experience in tourism will be considered
• Proven experience delivering high quality business partnering is a must, and strong approach to dealing with high levels of ambiguity and considerable change
• Strong profit oriented - capable to design financial as well as operational performance measurement systems and match them with corresponding KPIs
• Ability to think and work analytically, including strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills to senior leadership audience
• Technically sophisticated, is well versed in IT (operation systems as well as data-analytics). System knowledge in Hyperion (HFM) will be valued

Excellent bilingual Spanish - English language skills, both verbal and written
